Impressive Outright Makes it 5-0 for Donnellan's the Tyremen 1st XI

The ones headed away for the second game in a row to take on bottom of the ladder side, La Trobe. After winning the toss, the ones decided to have a bat on a deck that looked like it would do a bit in the first hour. Instead it did a bit all day and the ones were rolled for their lowest score of the year, 151. Harding and Burt put up a fight through the opening and middle overs but it was the partnership at the end between Chub and Dally that saw Marcellin limp over to 151.

Grand Final Rematch Disappointing for the Manningham Club 2nd XI

The 2nd XI needed a win against old rivals East Doncaster to get the season back on track but unfortunately things couldn’t have gone worse.

We won the toss and batted but a top order collapse had us at 4/10 and in big trouble. Mick Dinneen and Kaz put together a partnership to stop a complete disaster with Maz hitting some form at the end of the innings. In the end though, it was a pretty embarrassing 96 posted by the eagles in just 39 overs.
