Club life member and multiple premiership player Daniel Cimoli reached his 150 game milestone for the Club on 15 December.
Dan has been a club stalwart, having joined us through his friendship with Simon Fleming in 2003-04. Dan was a Whitefriars lad, so we have been very fortunate indeed that he chose to play with us.
Dan is best remembered as an attacking opening batsman. Through the period 2008-14, when at his prime, he loved to take control of a bowling attack, and was a heavy scorer. Dan has always been a handy slips fielder, and more than handy part time off-spinner.
Dan played his share of one's cricket in Dunstan Shield, but will be best remembered as a quality B grade opening batsman, with alot of his career played in the strong B Turf grade.
Off the field, Dan has been a great contributor to the Club, being a long serving Committee member and Club Treasurer. More recently, for the 3 year period 2015-18, he acted as Club President.
Congratulations Dan - we are all very fortunate to have played so much cricket with you.
