Marcellin lost the toss and were asked to bat by Monash University. We got off to a flier courtesy to some great batting from our openers Keyur Mehta and Rohit Shetye who scored 50* and 51* respectively before retiring. This was then followed by a flurry of runs from Dev Patel (50*) , Mohit Sethia (48*) and Julian Black (28*) which helped Marcellin post a mammoth total of 263 for no loss in 35 overs.

In pursuit of a big target, Monash Uni lost wickets at regular intervals and never really looked like chasing the total down. Some disciplined fielding from the team and tight bowling from the bowlers Dev Patel, Tristan Black, Julian Black, Chetan Joshi, Kushal Doshi and Chamin De Silva dismissing Monash for 114 giving Marcellin another victory with a huge margin.

Great to see Tristan Black back in the maroon kit filling in for a game!
