It’s a SIX! Yes, Marcellin have won their sixth match in a row in the Mid Year Cricket Comp.

Marcellin won the toss against Surrey Hills and elected to bat first.

Adam Massarotti was back opening the batting with Keyur. We lost Mazzarotti early in the innings after he left one on the stumps. Rohit Shetye and Keyur Mehta continued their golden run in the competition getting 50s again before retiring. The middle order then contributed well with Julian Black scoring yet another 50 helping take Marcellin to a total of 241.

Our Bowlers Dev, Meet, Michael, Kushal and Chamin then did what they have been doing so far in the competition, picking up wickets at regular intervals and choking the opposition for runs. Surrey Hills never looked like chasing the total down and were rolled out for 97.

Marcellin have now won 6 out of 6 games and have made it to the finals. There are 3 more games games to go in the regular season before the finals. Onwards and Upwards for the Frozen Eagles!
