Winter Update

Winter Update

The long Melbourne winter continues however MOCCC has started its preparations for the upcoming cricket season.

After last year’s dramatic finals run for the 1st XI, culminating in an epic semi-final draw and GF win v Glen Iris we look to continue to develop and expand the club. Since 2008/09 the club has claimed 12 premierships in various grades and this success will provide the foundation for further achievements.

We recently held the AGM.  From that meeting I can report that club is in good health with strong playing numbers, good financial strength and outstanding commitment from our committee and sponsors.

Presentation Night

Dear All,

As you would all be aware by now our 1XI had a great win in the A Turf Final a few weeks ago. A great achievement by the team!

The club presentation night will be held on April 22nd (Friday) at our sponsor The Manningham Club. Its great night to celebrate the season and I look forward to seeing you all there.

Semi Final Weekend - New Galleries

Semi Final Weekend is here! Get down to Marcellin College today and tomorrow to support the MOCCC Donnellan's the Tyremen 1st XI in their semi final against Canterbury.

To get in the mood, check out last year's 2nd XI Semi Final photos, featuring some of the guys playing today, including Nick Bortolotto, Julian Black and Lachie Evans, in the new gallery courtesy of Gary French. Gary has kindly provided MOCCC with photos dating back to 2006, and all of these photos will gradually be uploaded here. Thank you, Gary.

Go the Mighty Eagles!
